For questions about registering your troops as members of Girl Scouts, contact LouAnn Foerester, Recruiter (firstname.lastname@example.org).
If you are approached by a parent to have a new girl join your troop, please refer them to LouAnn . This is important because we monitor the size of troops in each grade level; there may be another troop in the same grade level which needs more scouts. There are also times when we have a waiting list of girls looking for open troops
Troop / Service Unit Events
The following forms are required by each scout participating in a troop and/or a service unit event . These forms are updated annually and must be provided to troop leaders:
- Medical Health Form– This form provides specific health information about your scout and provides emergency contact and permission to treat in the event she may need medical attention.
- Photo/Video Consent and Release form– This form informs the service unit if we have your permission to use your scouts’ likeness in our slide shows, newspaper articles, flyers and various other media presentations.
One of these Permission Forms is required for all troop and/or service unit activities, as described below:
- Parental Permission Form– this form is used for most field trips, single overnight and/or events.
- Activity Consent, Hold Harmless and Release Agreement – use this form for activities that would be considered “high risk”, such as scuba diving, high ropes courses, rock climbing, white water rafting, zip lines, 2 or more overnights, or International Travel.
